Resources for Students

Your AU account will have the same login information across all AU websites - AU Email, Self-Service, Blackboard, etc.

For information on how to set up your account, please visit the IT Tech Support Website or contact the helpdesk at 419-289-5405!

  1. Navigate to the Campus Store website.
  2. Select Textbooks on the top of the webpage.
  3. Click on “Reserve Textbooks” and then "Continue."
  4. Select the semester in the drop-down menu.
  5. Enter the three-letter code for the course in the next box. (ex. ENG for English, REL for Religion)
  6. Enter the course number in the final box. (ex. 101, 102, etc.)
  7. Once all of the courses have been entered, click the “View Your Materials” button.
  8. The next page will give you information on how to order textbooks through the Campus Store’s website, as well as if the course does not require a textbook.

Note: If the course lists "Inclusive Access" textbooks, that means your books have already been added digitally to your course and you do not have to purchase them separately.

Here’s how to make a payment:

  1. Navigate to Self-Service.
  2. Select "Student Accounts" from the homepage.
  3. This will take you to the CashNet website; select "Make a Payment."
  4. Follow all on screen directions to make your full or partial payment.

Archer Library gives you access to online catalogs, journals, databases and OhioLINK. Use the Ask a Librarian link to inquire about resources. Need help with research or finding materials for an assignment? Work directly with a librarian online or schedule a research appointment.

The tutoring programs available in the Center for Academic Support are designed to supplement the information presented by our exceptional faculty at no cost to the student. All tutors are full-time Ashland University students who have been recommended by faculty and have demonstrated academic excellence in their subject. From walk-in and online, to one-on-one, and small groups, the Tutoring Programs Office accommodates all enrolled Ashland University students.
